Celebrating Esker’s ESG commitment!
2025 has been another enjoyable and positive year for charitable outreach for Esker.
In the UK we have worked on a number of local projects, supporting local charitable initiatives as part of Esker’s ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitment.

Esker offers its employees one day per year to participate in associative, environmental, or societal actions. This day corresponds to a working day spent in the service of an association, a cause, or a specific action, such as environmental protection, promotion of education, enhancement of our local territory.

Back in January, members of Esker UK’s Marketing and Professional Services teams used their volunteering allowance to help out at the RSPCA’s South Street premises in Ilkeston.
The RSPCA are an animal rehoming charity.
Owing to the success of their Bath Street shop, this building needed clearing and cleaning ready to be vacated next month. The team were delighted to take part in this project!

In June, Esker UK’s Head of Marketing, Sam Townsend, raised money for Mind, the mental health charity. He cycled over 350km from Derby to Brighton to raise money for this worthy cause!
We also held a cake sale and raffle prize draw in our offices to support him in this tough challenge, and to raise some extra cash to help hit his fund raising target. If you'd still like to support Sam, you can learn more and donate here.
Six members of the UK team took time out in August to tidy up the walled gardens at Marketon Park in Derby, as part of Esker's community charity commitment.
Sam Townsend, Sosennah Every, Susan Fletcher, Amy Mlot and Ruby Waplington, worked hard digging weeds, putting compost down and watering the plants in the walled garden.
They finished the day with a well deserved ice-cream!
It was great to give back to the local community and leave the gardens looking lovely for others to enjoy!

The Esker UK team were delighted to #WearItPink for Breast Cancer Now in October. Our very pink fundraising raffle and cake sale raised over £250 for this amazing charity!

In December we were absolutely delighted to present Children First Derby with a large selection of gifts for their Christmas Present Appeal. Children First Derby supports children, young people and families, and these gifts will be distributed across the city to those in need.
