Esker DeliveryWare and SAP Solutions

Esker DeliveryWare’s Output Connector for SAP and Fax Connector for SAP seamlessly integrates Esker DeliveryWare into SAP applications. Offering a wide range of formatting capabilities and delivery methods to SAP users, Esker DeliveryWare SAP Connector ensures the reliability of enterprise communications.

Non-intrusive solution

Offering a practical and non-intrusive solution for integration of automated document delivery, Esker DeliveryWare resides on a server and connects to the SAP applications as an independent device. This architecture offers significant advantages:

  • No SAP programming changes are required.
  • Esker DeliveryWare enables direct access from any SAP application module. Any document format out of SAP applications is recognized and processed by DeliveryWare, including SAP RDI and XSF formats. In addition, DeliveryWare has a built-in functionality to automatically and easily pre-format these two common SAP application file formats (RDI and XSF).
  • Esker DeliveryWare integrates seamlessly and delivers full document delivery capability in SAP application environments. It can independently link to mail servers, business applications, networks, and multiple hosts.

SAP certified integration

SAP solutions provides a comprehensive set of integration scenarios that enable partners like Esker to integrate with SAP applications seamlessly. Esker DeliveryWare supports both BC-CON and BC-XOM.

User-friendly integration and notification

Sending, viewing, and managing documents with Esker DeliveryWare is easy for SAP users, who access Esker DeliveryWare from their familiar desktop interfaces. There is no training required and no delay enabling document delivery. The SAP interface manages status notifications sent back to the SAP system.

Flexible administration

Using SAP Output Determination, administrators can configure Esker DeliveryWare as the default output device if required.

The administration features include:

  • The job status can be tracked and managed from the SAP system. There is no requirement to open the Esker DeliveryWare administration tool (MMC) to manage jobs
  • A user may cancel from SAP applications any job submitted to Esker DeliveryWare that has not yet been processed
  • The contents of the Esker DeliveryWare queue can be viewed from the SAP system
